As part of our commitment to the local community, the NaphCare Charitable Foundation recently funded a new multi-use educational building at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, Alabama. The building will be used for hands-on instructional classes in horticulture for children and adults.

Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato, who was in attendance for the grand opening of the new center, commented, “Aldridge Gardens is one of the best parts of the City of Hoover. Not only does Aldridge Gardens offer walking trails, beautiful plantings and a five-acre lake, but there are also so many wonderful exhibits and classes offered here as well. To have this 30-acre public garden nestled in the heart of Hoover adds so much to the quality of life we offer our citizens. For classes like those our Bonsai members participate in, getting the full experience requires you get your hands dirty and sometimes the floor dirty, too. But you want to be able to do that without worrying about ruining the pretty floor or carpet. And this building will allow for just that. We appreciate those who have helped bring it to fruition and are excited about all it will offer our residents and visitors.”

Aldridge Gardens CEO Tynette Lynch and other Board members were recognized, as well as Kay Aldridge, owner and founder along with her late husband, Eddie Aldridge.
